There are many control processes involving two or more quality characteristics of a product or service, these quality characteristics need to be monitored and controlled simultaneously. These quality characteristics can be a variable or attribute, attribute quality characteristic can not be represented numerically, these quality characteristics represented by classifications that describe the state of these quality. So far attribute quality characteristic only have two types of biner classifications, in fact some quality require more than two types of classifications to describe the state of quality. Multinomial linguistic quality characteristic is an attribute quality characteristics that have more than two types of classifications to describe the state of quality, in getting the numeric form of multinomial linguistic quality characteristic, which called representative value, this final project use fuzzy set theorem by giving membership function for each classification. In this final project will be explained the procedure of control process phase I and phase II for processes with multinomial linguistic quality characteristics, using multivariate fuzzy control chart. The multivariate fuzzy control chart which used in this final project are fuzzy Hotelling T2 control chart, fuzzy-MEWMA control chart, and fuzzy-MCUSUM control chart, with help of bootstrap method to obtain control limit for each control chart.
