Cipta Sinergi Manufacturing (CSM) is one of the company that engaged in the metal industry. This company uses make to order system in their production. It means that CSM will do their production activity if there are orders from the customers. As a make to order company, CSM should always maintain customer’s satisfaction by completing their orders perfectly and not exceeding the duedate that has been decided in the beginning phase of order acceptance. Based on the CSM historical data, during 2012 until 2016, the on time delivery ratio of CSM is under 50%. It means that order completion by CSM mostly exceeded the duedate. Based on fishbone diagram analysis, it is known that the completion of orders are late due to over capacity and the non accurate capacity planning in the beginning phase of order acceptance. Over capacity is due to the tendency of CSM to accepts all orders that enter to the marketing division. Right now, CSM doesn’t have standardized order acceptance system and capacity planning system. <br /> <br /> <br /> This study aims to determine the order acceptance system based on good capacity planning so that over capacity can be avoided and the completion of orders can be done without exceeding the duedate. The proposed order acceptance system uses mathematic model with maximize profit as its objective. Based on the test results of the proposed model using CSM historical data during 7 April-17 April 2017, it is acquired that the proposed model gives Rp 811,019,021.62 as profit, larger than the profit that acquired by CSM historical solution. It shows that the proposed order acceptance system is better than the historical solution. text
