Based on data from Hygiene Division, Department of City Planning of Serang, there are 696 m3 municipal solid waste from Serang City and 213 m3 from Serang Regency transported to Cilowong landfill site everyday. Total area of Cilowong landfill site ± 14,2 hectares and will have closed the operation around 2022. Estimated volume of solid waste reach to 2.143.268,65 m3 in 2022. On Urban Land Use Plan of Serang City 2010-2030, the only program, that administer the development of solid waste management is Cilowong Landfill redesign and construction-optimization of solid waste management in Cilowong Landfill in 2010-2015. No program administer Cilowong landfill post operation. Meanwhile in Serang Urban Land Use Plan 2010-2030, Cilowong Village in Taktakan District is planned to be nature conservation area, so the rehabilitation alternatives for landfill site are: 1. Forest; 2. Green urban open space. text
