Description
Summary:Seismics resolution is a one of parameter that determining quality of seismic data. Seismics resolution influence to detail of the data and visibility of contained reflectors. Resolution analysis usually associated with tuning thickness caused by thin layer.

Representation of tuning effect is the matter related to wavelet of the signal. For the real case, seismics wavelet is nonstationary or varying toward time both its amplitude and phase, due to its propagation in heterogenous medium. Reality of this wavelet causing limitation of deconvolution method that based on stationary wavelet assumption. Wavelet extraction from

seismic itself is one of option to accommodate inconstant wavelet.

In this Final Project will try effectiveness from wavelet deconvolution method and high frequency spectral decomposition. Wavelet deconvolution lay at defining wavelet from extraction of seismic itself, so with this method hoped deconvolution operator that constructed will be better. Spectral Decomposition also one choice to enhance resolution. At this spectral decomposition accomodate Q factor that will influence to define wavelets spectrum. With that Q factor hoped nonstationary wavelet will represent better, furthermore

will influece to the its decomposing spectrum.

Analyze of seismics resolution enhancement in this research done at trace and spectrum of seismic section. At trace analysis, shows data processing that appearing thin bed separation from contained tuning thickness. At spectrum analysis, shows enhancement in frequency amplitude (db). To see the consistency of each section, well crosscheck has done to obtain a correlation coefficient value between trace and synthetic from well.
