Summary:The trade transport system has a very vital role in the Indonesian economy. Given the high demand associated with port development, the research in this Final Project is to design the capacity of new container terminal in Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, Central Java. The design of the dock capacity and the cultivation field is referred to OCDI Technical Portion and Harbor Facilities in Japan (2009) and Port Designer's Handbook: Recommendations and Guidelines from Thoresen, Carl A (2014). <br /> <br /> The first thing in this Final Project is to determine the capacity of new port plan with year under review is 2030. Determine the capacity of hinterland commodity data of Central Java region. Thereafter, a dock capacity analysis and a cultivation field capacity in 2030 of planned capacity are obtained. <br /> <br /> Based on Final Assignment the capacity of the new container terminal dock is 571,536 TEUs per year with a review of 3 Container Feeder 1,700 type moorings and 6 Liebherr STS Cranes. Meanwhile, the capacity of the new container terminal containment field is 883,017 TEU per year with 24 blocks of congestion and 24 RTG Crane.
