Description
Summary:University is a private university located in South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Pertamina University created a development master plan to anticipate the increasing number of faculty and students. The finished master plan is expected to solve the problems that occurred in the campus area during the first year of teaching and learning activities. One of the problems is flooding at some point of the university area. Flooding is caused by less than optimal drainage channels in handling rainwater runoff. Anticipatory step taken to overcome the problem of flooding is to design a sustainable drainage system. The stormwater runoff that passes through the drainage channel will be conserved and is expected to function as a campus water reserve for watering the crop. In the process of designing a sustainable drainage system, hydrological analysis will be carried out to determine the intensity of design rain. The rainfall data from 2007-2016 is taken from BMKG Climatology Station nearest from the study location, Pakubowono Station. The intensity of rain used in the process is rainfall with a period of 5 years; 150.8998 mm / day. Based on the results of laboratory tests the quality of rainwater runoff from open space at the University of Pertamina has fulfilled the parameters determined by the quality standard of class IV PP. 82 Year 2001. This shows that there is no need for complex processing for the installation of stormwater runoff from open space at the University of Pertamina. There will be four retention ponds, this amount is determined from the calculation and conditions of the area. The planned drainage channel is 2894.92 meters long. The channel is designed in rectangular shape with the channel equipment of 5 pieces of culvert.
