Therefore 16 Ilir market Palembang needs to be revitalized, with a different approach, namely the creative programming approach. Design principles of creative programming obtained from the precedent studies. In the application of creative programming on the revitalization of Market 16 Ilir Palembang, produced four design criteria, namely visionary, mixed use, contextual and accessibility are used as the basis for the finding on the design. Visionary implementation of the design is the vision of 16 Ilir market as a center of social interaction for the citizens of the city of Palembang and as a starting point for tourists to start the tour journey in the city of Palembang. Implementation of mixed-use functions that maintain the old market 16 ilir, develop commercial functions and add new integrated functions such as a hotel. Application of contextual namely to create a visual character that is consistent with historical buildings and around the existing Ampera bridge shall tread, providing facilities so that visitors can enjoy the view to the Ampera Bridge, Palembang Musi River and the skyline of Ulu Palembang across. Implementation of accessibility is to create an easily accessible access to market 16 Ilir and region from both landline and rivers, creating an integrated circulation between the respective functions in the building and creating a comfortable circulation in the economical activities within in 16 Ilir market. text |
