In Bandung City, many aspects of life directly and indirectly influenced by Cikapundung River. Cikapundung River itself predicted still used as riverbank residents' clean water source. With its actual condition and quality, the usage of Cikapundung River water suspected to cause waterborne disease. This study aims to identify relation between waterborne disease incidence with fresh water and sanitation facility at Cikapundung riverbank. The study focused at Dago Pojok to Wastukencana segment. In the study 100 respondents who live at Cikapundung riverbank and its surrounding area selected to be interviewed about fresh water source and its treatment, toilet facility (including domestic waste water treatment), solid waste facility (solid waste management around the residence), clean and healthy living behavior that usually done, average number of hours spent/day in residence, as well as their expectation. From the interviews, diarrhea beeninf ecting respondents and other residents in the same residence scope, accordance with Bandung City Health Office data. The high incidence of diarrhea (as a common symptom from certain waterborne disease) is contrary to the fact that 100% respondents use a reliable water source which has been treated before used. Another factor suspected to be the cause of diarrhea incidence, includes clean and healthy living behavior that usually done as well average number of hours spent/day in residence. Study result showed that clean and healthy living behavior That usually done as well average number of hours spent/day in residence turned out to also contibute as causes of diarrhea incidence (as a common symptom from certain waterborne disease). text
