How to create a secure HEVC (H.265), latest official compression standar, videos for various services is the main concern of this research. <br /> <br /> The contribution of this research is development of three methods in securing HEVC video as a function of complexity, processing time, and security level. The main idea of method A is perform bit-flipping method to 8 selected important parameters (classified in 4 levels) which located in Parameter Sets domain (VPS, PPS, SPS). Due to its simplicity, the suitable video services are paid per view, video on demand, and video interaction services that require proposed method to be minimum in complexity and processing time aspects because those services run in real-time mode. On the other hand, the second method (B) applies Rijndael/CTR encryption to Wavefront Parallel Processing (WPP) header in I, P, and B frames. The enhancement in complexity and security level still be tolerated by video surveillance type of sevice. Combination of A and B method (C method) offers a top level security aspect, higher tradeoff also, which suitable for video chat services. text |
