In Europe, safety standard of a bus accident in case of a rollover has been managed by UNECE R66 in order to decrease fatalities. Previous studies shown that bus in Indonesia do not comply the UNECE R66, also identify the critical point in the bus structure, thus reinforcement by using seat structure is done in this research. <br /> <br /> <br /> Seat modeling is done using SolidWorks and merged with body section using LS-PrePost. Simulation of body section without reinforcement is done to get the critical point. Reinforcements of body section are done using gusset, horizontal bar, square tube, linkage between seat structure and bus side structure, and their variation. <br /> <br /> <br /> Reinforcement using gusset, horizontal bar, square tube, and its variations do not comply UNECE R66. Only linkage between seat structure and bus side structure and its variations can comply UNECE R66. This type of reinforcement can also replace lower gusset reinforcement made by previous research. text
