| Summary: | <p align="justify">Every conflict has own dynamics, different conflict characteristic different causes, time, trends, actors, catalyst, trigger which is different also. Entirety of this dynamics will bring peace models which different at each conflict. Aceh and conflict will become two indivisible words, Aceh public dissolves in conflict since 1953, conflict swallowing many soul victims as well as finishing big cost is including economics decline. Conflict in Aceh since 1953 until 2005 divided in a few phase. Some effort for peace agreement have been done starts from Ikrar Lam Teh in 1957, Ikrar Blangpadang in 1962, Joint of Humanitarian Pause for Acheh (JUHP) in 2000, Cessation of Hostilities Agreement ( CoHA) in 2002, and last of Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) at Helsinki in December 2005, but conflict will grow on strong and there is no guarantee that peace would be permanent in Aceh.<p align="justify"><p>This Thesis tries giving deeply and broadly analysis about conflict in Aceh, and more went forward again tries decomposes conflict character in Aceh, including analysis of actors, causes, catalyst and trigger of conflict. With decomposing the indicators hence this thesis tries emphasizes the importance of Disarmament/decommissioning, Demobilisation and Reintegration (DDR) process in Aceh, with giving analysis about critical factors which must be paid attention to take care of peace process sustainability as agree and written in MoU Helsinki.<p align="justify"><p>This Thesis emphasizes the importance of comprehending conflict character in Aceh, that way DDR process which still running finite of this thesis written can become the answer for processing the sustainability of peace in Aceh. <br />
