On January 2017, this campus has 25.546 people as their civitas. Waste in this Final Project is defined by waste that has the same properties as the domestic waste, not included the hazardous waste. As a leading educational institution in Indonesia. ITB, especially the Ganesa Campus management has not put enough attention in the waste mangament system of the campus. This can be proven by the minimum effort in waste reduction and the dependency of waste – collect – dispose in this campus’s waste management system. One of the solution to handle this waste problem is y redisgning the waste management system in Ganesa Campus. At this moment, the waste generation in Ganesa Campus ITB is around 2.670,28 per day. Without a good management, ITB has to keep relying on PD Kebersihan Bandung to transport their waste to final disposal. In the proposal of new waste management system, waste sorting at waste source is an important aspect in order to make the system work successfully. The next thing, after the waste is being sorted, the anorganic fraction of waste will be transported to dropoff center in the Ganesa Campus Area, and there, the waste will be sorted more detail. On the other hand, the organic fraction of waste will be treated in composting technology. With this new system, we hope the quantity of waste being transported to final disposal is reduced, Ganesa Campus will be a truly Eco Campus. text
