The improvement of design and manufacturing process should be done to improve thrust of TJ-24 especially in nozzle guide vane and jet nozzle parts which further can improve thrust of TJ-24. This research is started from evaluation and design analysis of Eira’s TJ-24. Based on the evaluation and design analysis, there are several aspects in Eira’s TJ-24 which still can be improved. Furthermore, thermodynamics and kinematic calculation have been done to produce geometry and component dimension. The component is then simulated to evaluate the flow characteristics and also to validate calculation which has been done. The adequate design is then produced with proper manufacturing process. At the last process, new nozzle guide vane and jet nozzle are produced which are expected to support TJ-24 to generate 24 N of thrust. text |
