Summary: | Landslide problems on slope of the road will disrupt the road network and cause damage to construction around the roads that resulted in road closures. This study was conducted to develop the assessment indicators of potential landslide areas around the roads. Parameters weighting valuation are using pairwise comparison method, while the processing to an index of potential landslide areas using GIS software. Parameters used as an assessment indicator are rainfall with weight of 0,293, slope shape change with weight of 0,271 slope, soil type with weight of 0,199, slope with a weight of 0.160 and plant density with weight of 0.077. Assessment of landslide potential areas conducted in the study area Jatinangor - Bts. Kota Sumedang road. Results of the assesment index indicates <br />
