QUALITY FUNCTION DEPLOYMENT (QFD) METHOD IN INCREASE LENGTH OF STAY TOURIST AT KAMPUNG ADAT CIREUNDEU CIMAHI

Kampung Adat Cireundeu is the one of tourist attracttion place in Cimahi. Kampung Adat Cireundeu located in Leuwigajah, sub district South Cimahi, are traditional society village who following sunda wiwitan. Since 1918, the society are not using rice as main food, as a subtitute of rice they are using cassava as the main food. This things become one of characteristic society in Cirendeu village and become uniquely for cultural tourism in Cimahi as well. Furthermore, the Cirendeu society has another attracttion of cultural tourism which is the traditional ceremony and another art festival. Although there is so many existing festival and culture in Cirendeu, still not stimulate yet for tourist to stay for a long time in Kampung Adat Cireundeu. The problem is because the group who trusted to manage the village, cannot optimize the potential of cultural tourism in Kampung Adat Cireundeu. And it became none of tourism activity to make the tourist attracted as long as they visit Kampung Adat Cireundeu. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on those problem, there will be solution to answer what tourist need and want, when they are visit to Kampung Adat Cireundeu. So there is research about Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method to increase length of stay for tourist at Kampung Adat Cireundeu, Cimahi. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In this research, researcher using mixed method research. Sample in this research are using accidental sampling and purpose sampling technique. For tourist assigned using accidental sampling and for the tourism organization of Kampung Adat Cireundeu assigned using purposive sampling. For the processing data will be analyzed with analytical method which is Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method with the House of Quality matrix. So that the wants and needs of tourists is known what are the priorities for the development could increase length of stay of tourists. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> After analysis using QFD obtained 36 development strategies that could be implemented to improve the length of stay tourist.
