But at this time the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> water quality of the river from time to time decreases because if the waste of human <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> activity. Even in the upstream areas raw water intake is thought to be contaminated <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> as well. Therefore, this study was conducted to measure the water quality at the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> intake areas to determine the contamination happened. This research was conducted <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> in the three intakes namely Dago Bengkok, Bantar Awi, and Cikalong by looking at <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> time variations of weekday and weekend, samples were taken three times in one day <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> which are morning, noon, and evening. Parameters measured consist of physical, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> chemical and biological parameters including pH, DO, temperature, turbidity, BOD, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> COD, total coliform, E.coli, total microbes, ammonia, nitrate, and total phosphate. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> After knowing the results of laboratory tests compared with Regulation 82 of 2001 for <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> class I. Among of these parameters for the threes intake those are above the quality <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> standards are BOD, COD, total coliform, ammonia and total phosphate. All three <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> intakes showed values ranging from 40-50 COD mg /L-1 , BOD 6-11 mg / L-1 , total <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> coliform 100.000-500.00 MPN/ 100 ml, ammonia 0.1- 0.7 mg / L-1 and total <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> phosphate from 0.1-0.6 mg/ L-1. If compared within three intakes, intake Dago <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Bengkok is the intake that shows the most number of parameters exceeding the water <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> quality Standar I.
