Summary:Medicine is a science that studies about the disease and its cure. One branch of medical science is the science of dentistry. Dentists in their profession spend a long time work with static and dynamic position, it may cause interference of muscles, joints and bones are often known as musculoskeletal disorder. Currently musculoskeletal disorder was ranked 4th as a deadly disease in the United States Bone and Joint Initiative 2012. This research was conducted in two places, Bandung community health centers, Orthodonti Department and Endodonti Department at Padjajaran University Dental Hospital. Respondents in this study was 45 dentist, consisting of 21 from community health centers, 12 from Orthodonti Department, 12 from Endodonti Department. Ergonomics methods used in this study is the Cumulative Trauma Disorders Index (CTDs) and Ergonomic Assessment Survey (EASY). CTDs index show that Endodonti Departemnt has the index 14.709, Orthodonti 11.909, community health center 2.006. while the results of the EASY, hand, wrist, shoulder, neck, back has the highest priority. Statistical correlation analysis using SPSS with Pearson product moment test (P <0.05) get the result that the work experience, number of patients, has a positive correlation with the test results using ergonomics. While the analysis ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis (P <0.05) showed that there were significant differences in the results of CTDs and EASY to the three location of research.
