From the research, it is known that one of the constrain in oil and gas production process is a pressure drop, so that is necessary to set Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP ) as an artificial lift pump at low pressure wells. It is needed to analyze the production well pressure as an effort to optimize the fluid production. The analysis yields diameter size of tubing and the biggest number of stage wich have the most optimal fluid flow rate. On diameter tubing 3 , 476 ID obtained optimum value is 89,7% , while the variation stage’s pump 400 has obtained the largest value that is equal to 86.6 % of the maximum rate of the fluid . Furthermore, pressure loss cause of pipe friction (major losses) has greater effect than the pressure loss due to pipe shape (minor losses). the analysis was also performed on fluid flow in a horizontal pipe that carries fluid from oil and gas wells to the oil tank , and gained influence of pressure loss due to friction along the pipe distribution (major loss) is much greater than the pressure loss due to pipe shape ( minor loss) . text
