Summary: | This research aims to do a cut and fill volume calculation from Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) data by using two different volume calculation method. Those methods encompass how LIDAR data form the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) that used as a basic layer to calculate the volume and method to calculate the cut and fill volume. There are several structures to create a DTM modelling, grid structure and by using Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN). The different model that used will affect the volume calculation result. Volume calculated by using prismoidal method and grid method. The number of volume with prismoidal method has slightly difference compared to grid method except for the steep area. Furthermore, in this research DTM modelling with TIN structure data and volume calculation using prismoidal method are having more representative result because do not use many interpolation in it. |
