In the study of improving the usefulness of water resource in the Eastern of Bandung with the total watershed about 521,32 km2 (Cidurian 28,42 km2, Cipamokolan 43,35 km2, Cikeruh 164,84 km2, and Citarik 271,83 km2), the study is proposed to solve the problem of lack of water supply by doing the identification of water supply potential started from collecting data to doing the analysis to be recommended for the development of the water supply potential due to the need of more water supply cover the area, the water supply tends to decrease, the water quality is getting decreased, the flood has not been solved thoroughly and change of function. To solve the problem above, it needs technical engineering in building the facility to store the water supply and building dam is the appropriate solution. The analysis conducted in this study using Water Need Analyses and Water Supply Analyses which are started by Data Consistence Test (Double Mass Curve Method), Filling out the lost of the rain drops (Rational Method), Average rain drops (Theissen Method), Dependable Flow (NRECA method) resulted in the water balance. Besides that, it also needs to analyze dam storage capacity by using mass curve method by accumulating monthly discharge with its analysis, stated that the needs of maximum water volume as follows: Cidurian watershed 4,57 millions m3, Cikeruh watershed 23,15 millions m3, Citarik watershed 34,90 millions m3, Cipamokolan watershed 14,59 millions m3. It means that there will be no matter how many dams are built, as long as it is not over than the capacity above and appropriate in technical and economical manner. text |
