Summary: | Enhance Oil Recovery Technic become the only one choice for mature field and Waterflood is the mostlikely method considering the advantage from technology availability and economically. To apply this method in the field have to be pass many project screening which need early performance prediction to be able construct economic analysis and pass all project analysis screening. There are several method to predict waterflood performance such as Buckley Leverett, Craig Geffen Morse, Dykstra Parson, Stiles dan Bush and Helander which develop based on empirical approach using other site country waterflood success story or based on several ideal assumption which may create big gap to real condition. The other method which usually come as the best choice to more credible is Reservoir Simulation, but this method even provide more accurate prediction consume much time and effort as well as money thus unpractical to do for early prediction. There is room for practical approach to predict waterflood performance by utilize pilot waterflood and give acceptable result. The Method
also applicable for other field by following step by step calculation. This Method developed by apply Parametric Analysis either static parametric or dynamic
parametric of the reservoir and pilot waterflood behavior. The result have to pass statistical test thus for practically using statistic function in Excel application software. This Method developed by collect all static parametric such as Porosity, Permeability, PV, OOIP, etc. as same as dynamic parametric of pilot waterflood behavior such as PVI, FIFO, RF. Delta RF, WOR, etc. Then conduct parametric analysis and find out relationship between parametric to end up with practical
equation specific for this reservoir to predict waterflood performance for entire field application. Finally perform two equation which are equation to calculate injection rate for injector and eqution to calculate additional recovery factor. Overall calculation the field scale waterflood result additional 6.8 % recovery from OOIP. |
