Summary:Astronomer studying the universe include the study of meteoroids and space debris located in orbit of the Earth. Meteoroids and space debris can pose a threat to man-made satellites orbiting the Earth due to high speed and can hit satellites that cause damage to satellites that do not work properly. The LAPAN A2/ORARI satellite launched by the Aeronautics and Space Agency launched on September 28, 2015 will also experience threats by dangers from meteoroids and space debris. This Final Project is used to know how big the influence of meteoroid and space waste to LAPAN A2/ORARI satellite. Meteoroids flux and space waste per year at various altitudes and inclinations using the Grün and NASA90 models to determine how likely meteoroid san junior space waste harm LAPAN A2/ORARI satellite. Examination of the meteoroid flux by using the Grün model is done by correction of the Earth's protective effect and the concentration of Earth's gravity at various altitude and meteoroid mass densities as the flux ratio. Examination of flux in space debris was carried out using the NASA90 model on the various inclinations, heights, and density of space debris. From the results of the analysis showed that meteoroids flux and higher space debris found in meteoroid mass and space debris smaller. The meteoroid flux will get larger along with the altitude but at the ~ 3100 km altitude the flux reaches its maximum.
