The study was conducted in three stages; determining the meteorological phenomenons that influenced local inflow dicharge by using Power Spectral Density and Morlet Wavelet; determining the effect of meteorological phenomenon with Emphirical Mode Decomposition, monthly composite correlation and Multi Linear Regression; and determining outflow management system with discrete method of Chain Markov based on probability of meteorological phenomena analysis. <br />

The variance of the local inflow of the Citarum Basin Basin Reservoir can be explained in moderate relation with the El-Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and Indian Dipole Mode (IOD) phenomena. The ENSO can reduce or add 11% to 15% of local inflow of Citarum Cascade Reservoir, IOD 10% to 17%, and teleconection of the ENSO-IOD 10% to 15%. By looking at the different responses in each phenomenon, we uses nine conditions for management. After being simulated in 2016, optimized outflow of dams managed by managers is obtained by 0.4 to 5 times and can avoid losses by preventing runoff in the upper watershed. |
