The public spaces of the park has a very important role for the urban environment. Although the theme parks in Bandung increased visitors, but not all people can enjoy the park safely and comfortably. Most theme parks in Bandung does not provide with facilities that support its various activities .. As a result, people tend to be reluctant to perform various activities in the park. The results of this study are expected to bring recommendations to the Government of Bandung in park development oriented towards park visitors. <br />

This study questioned about what facilities are actually needed by gardens in the city of Bandung, especially theme parks in SWK Cibeunying is Taman Lansia, Taman Pasupati, Taman pustaka Bunga dan Taman Balai Kota. The variables used were social and economic characteristics of visitors are age, education level, occupation, and income level, which is the independent variable. Then the dependent variable in the form of park facilities consisting of 20 kinds of facilities. The analysis used there this study is cross tabulation analysis to see the facilities needed, then be weighted with Likert scale. Other analyzes conducted is Crosstabulation Chi-Square analysis to see if there is a relationship of socio-economic characteristics of the visitors to the selection of facilities. Analysis of sequencing strategy used by considering the priority issues and the results of the previous analysis. The results of these analyzes are used to refine the direction of the development of facilities in four thematic gardens surveyed. <br />

From the analysis found the facilities were most needed by man is a parking facility, including Taman Lansia, Taman Pasupati dan Taman Pustaka Bunga. While the facilities are most needed by women respondents surveyed throughout the park are toilet facilities. Furthermore, the results of socio-economic relations characteristic of visitors to the selection of facilities in male and female visitors to the park, the work is a variable that influences the selection of facilities across the landscaped garden. The output of these studies form the direction of development of the four parks in terms of facilities most needed by visitors to the park |
