COMPARISON OF CONSTANT TEMPERATURE MODEL AND BACK-SHIFTED FERMI GAS MODEL FOR THE 244;245Cm (n; f) REACTION CROSS SECTION CALCULATION USING TALYS

After the discovery of nuclear reaction by Rutherford, nuclear reaction experiments

have been done to study the atomic nucleus. Until now, the nuclear

experiments was performed to obtain a nuclear data. The nuclear data libraries
<b...

The calculation of

cross section using CTM and BSFGM showed discrepancies because of different

value of pairing energy parameter. In addition, the calculation also show that

effect of odd-even nuclei affect the 244Cm (n; f) and 245Cm (n; f) reaction

cross section. This study shows that when compared with data from ENDF,

cross section calculation using CTM and BSFGM with TALYS give good result. text
