This method is then known as Collaboration for Decision Quality (CDQ) which provides a framework to develop solutions for complex decisions made under uncertainty and facilitate a structured and logical approach to problem solving. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> A field development project through the drilling of development well is very challenging to manage because the components and processes involved are numerous, dynamic, and interdependent. Managing such project plan requires execution of multiple technical tasks such as subsurface data evaluation, production and cost forecasting, drilling and completion techniques, well performance optimization, and economic evaluation. Therefore, a structured, collaborative, and integrated approach is required among the components and processes involved to achieve a high-quality decision through CDQ process. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This study describes the process of CDQ to generate high-quality decision that is agreed and followed up by all the stakeholders regarding the further development of SBB and RW fields. CDQ process for this type of project involved multiple technical disciplines such as: asset management, subsurface, drilling engineer, completion engineer, production engineer, project engineer, process engineer, and economist. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The study shows that CDQ process in deciding the type of well completion for the development of SBB field and deciding the drilling strategi for development of RW field has shown the following results: <br /> <br /> <br /> 1. Provide structured, collaborative, and integrated approach to ensure collaboration processes among the functions involved in the decision making proses are exist. <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. Provide the access for all technical disciplines required to make better decision. <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. Generate the set of development strategy alternatives that are distinct, interesting, viable, and alternative related to the determination of completion type and drilling strategy. <br /> <br /> <br /> 4. Generate a collaborative and integrated decision on the determination of the most optimum completion type which is suitable with reservoir characteristic of the SBB field, it is a horizontal well with multistage hydraulic fracturing. <br /> <br /> <br /> 5. Generate a collaborative and integrated decision on the determination of the most economical drilling strategy considering the actual field condition, it is drilling strategy with three infill wells in two drilling campaigns. <br /> text |
