Hence, this undergraduate thesis includes the design of gas pipeline of SKG Tegal Gede to Cianjur Industrial Region which is not included in the main plan of transmition national natural gas 2010-2025. <br /> <br /> <br /> Design considerations of gas pipeline in this thesis are route, determine pipe diameter, locates of gas compressor station, pipe schedule, pipe material, corrosion protection and analysis safety of pipeline. <br /> <br /> <br /> The calculation of those design considerations results in 97,5 km of pipe route with gas compressor station (SKG Cianjur) is at KP 85. Pipe with the specifications of API-5L grade X-42 NPS 10 SCH 60 is used from SKG Tegal <br /> <br /> <br /> Gede until SKG Cianjur. Meanwhile, API-5L grade X-42 NPS 6 SCH 40 is used from SKG Cianjur until the end of transmission pipeline. Corrosion protection is done with 3 LPE coating and impressed current protection cathodic. The <br /> <br /> <br /> thickness of 3 LPE for NPS 10 and NPS 6 is 2,6 mm and 2,8 mm, respectively. <br /> <br /> <br /> The protection cathodic is using 7 mixed metal oxide (MMO) anodes with the material of backfill is calcined petroleum coke breeze. The safety of this pipeline design is proven under ASME B31.8 code and API RPP 1102. text
