Generally, the result shows the difference petrophysical and AVO behavior in every field. So, the petrophysics and AVO study are important to be done regionally to find the cause of different behavior of petropysical and AVO in Mahakam Delta. Petrophysics and AVO systhesis study consist of 42 wells from production wells in Mahakam Delta using complete log data (Vp, Vs, Rhob, geology marker, and petrophysics interpretation). The burial effect, interval stratigraphy, and hydrocarbon saturation commonly evaluated using 2D cross-plot in IP-PR domain. 1D RVA modeling applied using sample from each burial and interval stratigraphy. Uncertainty modeled using all possible value from Vp-Vs-Rhob on <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> those wells. Well logs evaluation shows that clay content in sand reservoirs increase towards external axis (distal part of the Mahakam Delta). Compaction trends may vary with different stratigraphic intervals. The gas presence should decrease IP and PR. To validate the RVA models, AVO cubes have been calculated in a <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> selected field (median-1).
