Summary:Shallot is one of important commodities in Indonesia that commonly used as food seasoning and traditional medicine. Therefore, its place as an important commodities need to be balanced with high productivity. Shallot cultivation using TSS are able to increase productivity up to 26 ton/ha. However, using TSS as planting materials still has a problems with its less appropriate environment conditions in producing TSS. Its less appropriate environment conditions can be solved by giving plant growth regulator which are gibberelins and auxin with the result that shallot plants are able to produce TSS properly. Purpose of this research is to study the effects and interaction of gibberelins and auxin concentration for TSS yield and bulbs biomass of shallot. The systems is designed using Randomized Block Design (RAK) factorial pattern with two factor, there are gibberelins concentration (0 ppm; 100 ppm; 200 ppm; 300 ppm; 400 ppm) and auxin concentration (0 ppm; 50 ppm; 100 ppm; 150 ppm). Parameters observed in this research are TSS weight; TSS amount; bulbs weight; and bulbs amount. Based on the results, there is no interaction occured between gibberelins and auxin concentration in affect TSS weight; TSS amount; bulbs weight; and bulbs amount. The research showed that gibberelins and auxin concentration did not affect TSS weight; TSS amount; and bulbs amount signifacntly. However, 100 ppm IBA showed the best result in bulbs weight.
