Description
Summary:This research aims to design of heater with temperature control program to be used in surface plasmon resonance experiments. The heater is made of ceramic rods resistor with a value of 1 ohm resistance, 5 VDC voltage and 25 watts power. Control device used in this study is the arduino microcontroller and LabVIEW software. This study examines the analytical determination of the saturation temperature when the heater is given flow continues theoretically and experimentally. The analysis used in this research is the analysis of thermal radiation to examine the given temperature of the heater to a certain distance. The results showed that heating control program has been functioning well with a deviation value of 3% of the setpoint value and analyzed pricing models to the temperature within 0.6 cm, 0.8 cm, 1 cm and 1.2 cm from the surface of the heating source.
