This public library project is designed to be built in downtown Bogor, located on Jl. Raya Pajajaran <br /> <br /> <br /> no.9C, Bogor. The library building is designed to accommodate the activities of library public services <br /> <br /> <br /> and other supporting functions that attracts public. These additional functions are gallery and <br /> <br /> <br /> commercial functions consisting of bookstores, food & beverage retail, and Bogor souvenir shops. <br /> <br /> <br /> The client of this project is KAPD Bogor City whichis under the City Government of Bogor in cooperation <br /> <br /> <br /> with PT Bogor Anggana Cendekia as an investor of fund and manager of commercial function. While <br /> <br /> <br /> the library and gallery will be managed by KAPD Bogor City. Based on the space requirement program, <br /> <br /> <br /> this library building project should be designed around 6800 m2 on an area of ± 5,696.27 m2. <br /> <br /> <br /> Project site located in the city center and in the Jagorawi toll exit area. Those aspects hold an important <br /> <br /> <br /> part in the process of designing concept. That makes a new requirement in designing the building: be <br /> <br /> <br /> iconic-in order to respond to the project location. Thus, the approach used in design is the iconic <br /> <br /> <br /> approach (pendekatan ikonik). As for the mass of the building, is designed to respond to the shape of <br /> <br /> <br /> site and its surrounding environment to be open to the people of Bogor city.
