| Summary: | Four-Star Business Hotel in Jakarta has many facilities, such as restaurant, sport center, meeting room, business center, etc. Every activities inside the building surely needs of clean water. Fulfilling clean water demand inside the building is very necessary to support the activities inside. Therefore, plumbing design of clean water is needed with the requirements specified. Source of clean water for this building is from PDAM, using gravitation system to distribute water. Plumbing system has been designed to determine pipe dimension needed to meets the criteria, but the water still able to flow safely to the all of the plumbing units. Water from PDAM collected in ground water tank on the lowest level, then pumped up to the roof tank before distributed into the plumbing units. Besides that, design of plumbing system also includes fire protective system, such as sprinkler and hydrant system. For hydrant and sprinkler system, determination of number, dimension, technical specification, and placement are determined by SNI and other related regulations. |
