PT PKS Perkebunan Milano engages in the industry of palm oil mill. It produces CPO (Crude Palm Oil) and PK (Palm Kernel). These products act as raw materials for food and other intermediary industry. PT PKS Perkebunan Milano has a vision to be the best, well-respected, and internationally recognized palm oil mill company. This is realized by the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 international standard. Its customer is ISO 9001 and other ISO standard certified that in order to assure the quality of product supplied, it is important for PT PKS Perkebunan Milano to implement this international standard. <br /> <br /> <br /> On 2015, ISO has published a new revision of the current standard which is ISO 9001:2015. In this new version, the use of process approach is still emphasized. But there are also some changes, including the addition of new clauses and new requirements, such as risk management and organizational knowledge. These changes inflict that companies that are still certified ISO 9001:2008 have to transition to ISO 9001:2015 in order to keep the ISO recognition they once have. <br /> <br /> <br /> To prepare the transition to ISO 9001:2015, PT PKS Perkebunan Milano needs to make some adjustments. This research aims to design the quality management system based on ISO 9001:2015 and the necessary documents to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 certification. This is achieved through the method of document evaluation. Evaluation is done by comparing the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 clauses with the actual condition of quality management system implemented in the company. <br /> <br /> <br /> After the analysis of requirements, it is found that there are 9 clauses that have not been met yet by the company, including clauses that require activities of risk management and organizational knowledge. PT PKS Perkebunan Milano needs to make some adjustments in order to meet these requirements, such as creating new documents and adjusting existing documents in the company. These are done to prepare PT PKS Perkebunan Milano to gain ISO 9001:2015 certifications.
