Description
Summary:Jakarta is one of the most densely populated cities in Indonesia. The area in Kelurahan Rorotan, Kecamatan Cilincing, North Jakarta is one of the potential areas to accommodate the increasing number of population in Jakarta. The region will be used to build the superblock area. It sits on 289,490 m2 of land. This area called North CBD Cakung. Inhabitants activity will be able to produce wastewater that must be processed, therefore it will planned to build WWTP in the region by serving 90,000 people per day. WWTP is expected to serve entire area in North CBD Cakung centrally. Predicted wastewater generation is 101 l/second. The alternatives to this design are completely mixed active sludge, oxidation ditch and rotating biological contactor. The chosen alternative to be implemented is completely mixed active sludge. From the choosen alternative, it shows that BOD removal 97% and TSS removal 98%. The sludge treatment alternative will produce approximately 32.4 m3 of sludge each day. The capital cost of this design is Rp 6.619.206.384 with a monthly operational and maintenance costs are Rp 70.291.442 per month.
