Description
Summary:Physics is the science based on a natural context so that the whole universe can basically be explained in physics. The case also for process explanation of mineral and rocks forming which can be explained by physics. This study was conducted by literature study then followed by construction of mineral forming process and reviewing physics of forming process for idocrase and gold sample. The learning outcome is an understanding of idocrase and gold forming process in Aceh and physics concept of their forming. Idocrase formed from metamorphism of limestone as a result of contact with residual magmatis deposit. Therefore, the location is close to intrution zone. In appearance, location zone was established by round-up among igneous, sediment and metamorf rocks. For Sumatera, this zone is one result of shallow subduction of oceanic crust under continental edges crust. In process of idocrase forming occurred composition changing of limestone with residual magmatis deposit, where Carbon (C) changed by gass of magma. The high temperature lead to change in atoms structure and recrystallization. The long cooling process produced large crystal structure like tetragonal. A review of physics in process of idocrase forming such as Thermodynamics laws, particularly, entalphy which acts as energy formation. It is also an explanation in eutectic phase diagram generally. In contrast to idocrase, the gold already existed in primary magma and will settle on a certain pressure and temperature condition close to earth surface. The gold found in Aceh is high sulphidation epithermal. It can be seen from mineral association amd discovery location wich is close to caldera. High sulphidation epithermal deposit derived from volcanic hydrothermal systems where its solution is contained by high acid properties. Epithermal solution in high temperature met metoric water in low temperature so that boliling is occurred. The boiling process will evaporate the gasses H2O, CO2, HCl, H2S and SO2. The evaporate will be leaving a high sulphidation epithermal deposit
