firm performance can be formed from competencies that are unique, rare, unsubtitutable, and difficult to imitate in the company. One of those competencies <br />

is individual competencies in the company. Individual that have main role in the company is employee on the middle level management like manager, senior manager, or general manager. One of competencies that can help manager to increase firm performance is managerial competencies, strategic competencies, and technical competencies. The main model is built on literature study and secondary data that company had. Manifest variable of strategic competencies have been based on two dimension, strategy analysis ability and decision making strategy ability. Manifest variable of managerial competencies have been based on HPMC model that had 11 <br />

dimensions. Manifest variable of technical competencies have based on two dimension, technical skills and contextual knowledge. The variable has a little <br />

modification with the respondent and company that observed. Last, manifest variable of firm performance have been based on three indicators which are sales <br />

growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. The model in this research is processed with SPSS 13 and SmartPLS 2.0, whereas, PLS is the methods that used on the research. The end result of this research, there is relationship between managerial competencies, strategic competencies, and technical competencies with firm <br />

performance. And strategic competencies are one of determinant which formed managerial competencies and technical competencies. Finally, the main theory and objective research can be proved. |
