this area is suitable to be realized. The aims of this research are to study the geological structure, to determine ideal karst geomorphology for geotourism development, and to make geotourism paths map in the research area. Primary data used in this research are karst geomorphology data, structural geology data, and lithology data obtained from field observation and field <br />

data collection. Several analyses have been used in order to achieve that objectives which are petrography analysis, paleontology analysis, karst geomorphology analysis, structural analysis, diagenesis analysis, lithology and facies analysis, also geotourism analysis. Based on the analysis, research area consists of Middle Oligocene limestone unit that is composed of foraminiferal packstone facies and foraminiferal wackstone facies. This unit is a part of Tonasa Formation. Lithology located in research area accompanied by northwest-southeast-trending lineaments and southwest-northeast-trending lineaments. Based on criteria of ideal geotourism object, there are ideal geotourism objects, which are sinkhole, cave, pinnacle karst or tower karst, polje, and shelter cave. Based on geomorphology analysis, geotourism analysis such types of tourist analysis, and track difficulty analysis, there are three track themes, which are Exploration of Rammang-Rammang, Exploration of Limestone Cave, and Exploration of Pute River and Berua Village. Karst geomorphologies in research area have a typical formation process, unique appearance, and varied terrain of paths. |
