Summary: | The Bonus-Malus System (BMS) has been implemented in several countries around the world. The majority of Bonus-Malus System (BMS) in the actuarial science literature assigned to each policy holder a premium based on only the claims frequency component. In this way, a policy holder who had an accident with small size of loss is penalized unfairly in the same way with a policy holder who had an accident with big size of loss. Bayesian approach is used to obtain expectation of claims frequency and severity based on claims historical of policy holder.
