There are 4 active volcanoes in this area is interesting to study. Gravity survey conducted to determine subsurface <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> phenomenon of this area. Measurements were taken as much as 301 points with the distance between stations from 1000 to 1500 m. Gravity data correction is applied to obtained gravity anomaly values, and then mapped in the form of countours. Countour map shows a high anomaly in the north Larantuka and low anomalies in the Flores Strait region and southeastern of Adonara island. CBA <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SRTM from satellite measurement is used to obtain local information that is not covered by land gravity measurement. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 2.5D forward modeling of land and satellite gravity anomaly with an estimated depth of the source generated from spectrum analysis and lithological information from geological maps showing thrust fault structure on the north Larantuka and there are processes of magma rising beneath the volcano area which causes deformation of the crust due to temperature which is accompanied by deformation due to mass loading by the volcano, causing thinning of the crust in certain areas. There is a relationship between volcanoes around the flores strait forming ring volcanic, an estimated that the three volcanoes are produced by the same magma source beneath the strait flores. text
