The hydraulic fracturing technique is one of the well compression methods used to simulate wells in the reservoir with a small permeability. The hydraulic fracturing process aims to increase the productivity of the production zone or reduce formation damage around the well. This method can be applied to both vertical and horizontal wells and can also be performed on reservoirs that can not produce economically. <br />

In this final project, researchers used Fracpro PT 2007 software to determine the optimum hydraulic fracturing treatment design planning by conducting proppant sensitivity test. The research data is taken from case study of a field. The fluid used is 2% KCL and cross-linked gel. The results of the sensitivity test showed that the use of 12/18 CarboHSP proppant of the same size each injection treatment resulted in the highest conductivity value. |
