There are studies explored the factor that impact the success of organizational change, one <br /> <br /> of the factor that gives impact on organizational change is leadership. There are many journals and papers that identified the relationship between the leadership style <br /> <br /> and the success of organizational change implementation is significant, how the leader can influence the employee organizational change belief is impacted the success or failure of the organizational change. Knowing the importance of leadership style in organizational change, the researcher tried to identify what is leadership style that can help strengthening the organizational change implementation and overcome the resistance of organizational change. In this research, the researcher focused on the real case that happened in PT Pindad. PT Pindad is currently on the process of implementing their new culture. Based on the previous data, it shows <br /> <br /> that PT Pindad need to improve the leadership in order the organizational change to succeed. The researcher tried to identify whether the leadership style has a significant relationship with organizational change, in this case is the new organization culture, and what leadership style that is appropriate to strengthen the organizational change implementation in PT Pindad. The data of this research gathered through questionnaire and processed by SPSS. The results of this research show that the leadership style has significant impact on the <br /> <br /> organizational change, and both of transformational leadership and transactional leadership give <br /> <br /> a positive impact on the organizational change. The current leadership style that PT Pindad used <br /> <br /> is Management-by-exception, while results show that Inspirational Motivation is a leadership style that gives highest positive impact among other seven leadership style on organizational change in PT Pindad. <br /> <br /> The researcher recommends PT Pindad to apply thInspirational Motivation Leadership since it <br /> <br /> has the positive impact in organizational change implementation. The researcher also recommends further research to explore other factors that could impact the organizational change other than the leadership style. text |
