Dekeng WTP is located at Jl. Raya Dekeng No.5, Genteng, Bogor Sel., Bogor City, West Java. Dekeng WTP service area is Bogor Timur, Central Bogor, Bogor Utara, Tanah Sareal, and West Bogor. The source of raw water used by Dekeng WTP is Cisadane River. Population growth of Bogor City occurs every year, cause Dekeng WTP must increase its production capacity. Dekeng WTP has 2 installations, namely WTP I of 1000 L/s capacity and WTP II of 460 L/s capacity. Based on the study of water needs, Dekeng WTP planned to meet service target in service area until 2027 with total requirement of clean water is 1812,36 L/s. To meet the target, the processing capacity of WTP II will be increased to 1000 L/s. The combination of WTP I and WTP II water production can meet service targets until 2027. The flocculation unit consists of 3 compartments using an upflow downflow system and a sedimentation unit comprising 3 compartments using a plate settler. By evaluating the current condition of existing WTP II, the coagulation unit does not need to be uprated while for WTP I coagulation requires uprating. For the flocculation unit at 1000 L/s discharge has overflowed and some design parameters are in maximum condition. In addition, each flocculation compartment converges with a sedimentation compartment so that when constructing a new flocculation unit it is necessary to build a new sedimentation unit. The conclusion is to create a new flocculation unit and a new sedimentation unit with a capacity of 250 L/s and suppress existing flocculation and sedimentation units with a capacity of 750 L/s. The total initial investment required for this project is Rp5.900 million. text
