The purpose of this study is to study the implementation of public policy in the river improvement of East Floodway of Semarang City which viewed from the political, social and cultural, economic, environmental, and technical as well as the aspects that affect the implementation of the policy. This research is associative, that is by analyzing the influence between variables in public policy implementation in the river improvement of East Floodway of Semarang City based on political, social and cultural, economic, environmental, and technical, through qualitative and quantitative approach. The research instruments were questionnaires that analyzed using SPSS through multiple linear regression analysis. <br />

The result of the research shows that political, social and cultural, economic, environmental, and technical simultaneously affect the success of public policy implementation in river improvement of East Floodway of Semarang City, which is 66.9%. Whereas, 33.1% influenced by other aspects that it’s not examined in this study. In addition, among the five aspects tested, social and cultural as well as economic aspects significantly or very significant effect on the implementation of public policy in the river improvement of East Floodway of Semarang City. While the others, such as political, environmental, and technical, have little effect but no significant because there is not enough evidence to state that all three aspects (political, environmental, and technical) have a significant effect on the implementation of public policy in the river improvement East Flood City of Semarang. |
