Educational media, especially visualization and simulation can help teacher in transfering knowledge. Interactive media that includes real objects from autentic environment gives a direct experience to students, so keeping the student’s knowledge lasts longer. The reason to choose the concepts of electricity circuit, that concists of DC and AC alternating circuits is based on the fact that students usually have difficulties in getting and understanding the voltage and current in electricity circuits, especially in AC circuits. The difficulty can be hope fully over-come by a learning model or a program, that can represent the system concidered. The model that can represent the system visually is called simulation consisting of pictures and graphs. Matlab is one of the programs. In this final project we created a learning media. Matlab Program As a Media for Learning Concepts of Electricity Circuits. The program hopefully can lead students to be more independent and more easily in understanding the concepts. text
