On this research, initial oil in place calculated by volumetric method based on the available field data. To make a representatives model, rock typing method were
used to determine porosity-permeability relationships and finally to determine water saturation distribution for initial oil in place calculation.
From core and log analysis, X field differentiates based on two different depositional environments that are lagoon and reef associates. Hence, water saturation distribution model and initial oil in place calculation differentiate by these two depositional environments. After the calculation using volumetric method, distribution and calculation result based on J function were compare to result from log data. The comparison of calculation result and log data result presented as vertical and lateral and after that the two method were compared of it water saturation absolute mean. PETREL simulator was used for the calculation process of this research. |
