Description
Summary:Increasing world energy demand over the development period, giving space to the researchers to develop various methods in petroleum exploration activities. In the initial exploration phase is usually only used 2D seismic data as primary data in addition to other geological data. Utilization of seismic data is usually only used to obtain information geometry of reservoir rocks, while essentially 2D seismic data can still provide information on rock lithology. On the basis that the author tries to identify the distribution of rock lithology using multi-attribute seismic methods and geostatistical or spatial statistical analysis to determine the geological conditions of the study area. From the results of studies that have been made, obtained information on the distribution of sandstone lithology using 2D seismic data and a series of wells as a reference. The result of statistical spatial analysis, information obtained sedimentation trends northwest-southeast trending that show compliance with paleogeograpfi maps of reservoir rock layers that already exist.
