Nutrition quantitiy affected Anopheles susceptibility to insekticide, but there is no evidance that nutrition quality affect the outcome of resistance monitoring in mosquito althought it have been showned in Helicoverpa. Here, we measure the effect of three commercially available feed used to rear Aedes which were Alpo® (A), Frieskies® (F) and Tetramin® (T) to its life history of Aedes aegypti and permethrin susceptibility in A. aegypti larvae. The life history traits were developmental time and pupal mass. Susceptibility measured by comparing LC50 value which were generate from WHO Bioassay. LC50 from group A was 0,498 ppm, from group F was 0,648 ppm and from group T was 0,419 ppm. There was no correlation between life history and susceptibility. Larval developmental time correlate positively with protein content on feed. We found that nutrition quality affect pemethrin susceptibility and life history of A. aegypti. text
