| Summary: | The effect of tidal waves in river channels, depends on amplitudo of tidal wave in estuary, discharge of river water, and topography characteristic along channels. River discahrge flowing from upstream reaches into the estuary affects water leve and velocity of water flow along the channels. This study modes the tidal wave propagation by considering a lot of paramaters mainly the change of water depth, width of channel, discharge, and bottom friction. To validate the result of modelling, in some cases studie, modelling is compared to analitycal calculation. |
