Pertamina University located in the area of Simprug, South Jakarta, is a university founded by the Pertamina Foundation in an area of 8.9 hectares. Ongoing academic activities at the Pertamina University are supported by various facilities, one of the facility is laboratory.. However, the laboratory facilities are not sufficient for the advanced needs, so that new laboratories will be built to support teaching and learning activities at Pertamina University. The laboratory wastewater that goes into the laboratory Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of Pertamina University comes from three types of laboratories, there are basic chemistry laboratory, environmental chemistry laboratory, and organic chemistry laboratory. The wastewater flow from this three laboratories is 1,72 m3/day. The laboratory WWTP will be built on an area of 30 m2. Wastewater treatment laboratories conducted at the University of Pertamina include neutralization, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and wetlands. The effluent water from the wastewater treatmet process is hoped to fulfills the regulatory environment quality standard of the Governor of DKI Jakarta. 69 of 2013.
