As Indonesia in general, in the region and the city of Tangerang, the majority of the inhabitants is Muslim. Islam is a religion that is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad to regulate all aspects of human life (relationship to God and human relations) in order to gain salvation in the last days. In carrying out the necessary containers that can accommodate a wide range of facilities in one area, Ukhuwah Islamiyah Foundation of BSD Cisauk –The Icon and The Avani Housing as society representation, awares of this need and considers to build the Islamic Center in Tangerang. <br /> <br /> <br /> Islamic Center accommodates various types of activities such as social events, education, commercial, residential, and surely religious ritual prayer. It is located on the highway of Cisauk with approximately 1.3 ha area, this public facility is expected to provide many advantages. It is not only open for local and Islamic society, but also the traveler and non-Islamic society. In order to gain and spread the advantages, Islamic Center is also expected to become a Public Social Space that can increase social interaction. In the spirit of togetherness and tolerance, this Islamic Center is taking the concept of simplicity and non-symbolism thus anyone will feel welcomed in this place. <br /> <br /> <br /> The contoured land that is 10 m below the road surface challenges and enhances the character of this design. The neighborhood that is directly adjacent to urban areas but still looks beautiful also becomes the fascination of this Islamic Center.
